HEALTH INFORMATION
The produced wine is 95% red wine. These wines have therapeutic properties, acknowledged above all in cardiovascular diseases. Studies carried out in France and at the Rome University La Sapienza recently proved that, though in some areas the diet is rich in fat, there has been no increase in coronary cardiopathies. It was thus acknowledged that red wine protects arteries, a phenomenon named "French paradox". Red wine is also very useful in prevention a lot of neoplasias, notably those affecting the digestive tract. Given its anti-atherosclerotic function, it increases the anti- atherogene fraction of cholesterol and the body's resistance to cancer, being also rich of particular substances and flavonoids, which are notably antioxidant. Moreover, these wines favour digestion and coenaesthesia with a psychotonic action. These properties are obviously exalted in artisan wines, in grapes and wines which do not require the systematic use of synthesis chemical products.I
