Azienda Agricola Clerici S.S. is managed by the sixth generation of the Clerici family, a family of
doctors and chemists from 1789 to 1956, whose production aim has always been health protection.
The wines are produced with grapes from the household vineyards "La Crosa", "Canareto" and
"Casalina", all of them situated in Rocca Grimalda (Alessandria) - Italy.
The physical and chemical features of the land, its favourable position and exposure and the clonal
selection of the vines, along with a careful cultivation technique according to the ecological E.C.
directive 2078 allow achieving high quality and healthy grapes. Only the grapes which are selected
during the harvest are intended for vinification. Wine-making is carried out in the ancient winery in
the traditional way but with a modern technological equipment. Tradition is thus combined with the
control and optimisation of all stages in the production of typical products.
